Yes it was just stuck little rust on shaft, bigger hammer works great
where do I find a belt for a Handy drum mulcher can you send me a phone number that handles parts for theses Thanks Phil
How did you get the shaft separated from the bearing box case? I bought one and after seeing your video I am taking it apart to add the 6 more bolts to hold the thing together.ive got the retainer nut off but the shaft won’t come out of the bearing case?did I miss something?
I don't remember mine being hard to get out.. Maybe it loosened in the wreck.. Did you get yours off.
Beautiful pups
I really appreciate your posting this video. I took my frame to a welding shop and had a new 1/2" quick attach plate welded on so the unit will hopefully stay on my skid steer; I took the bearing case to a machine shop to have 6 new hardened Allen screws added and to swap out the original 6 with hardened steel Allen head machine screws. Interestingly, there was no grease inside the bearing case at all - just a thin smearing of oil. Some of the parts inside also seemed to be scarred up as though they were salvaged from other machines. Many of the tapped holes were not deep enough for the Allen screws which would bottom out before getting tight. We drilled and tapped these shallow holes deeper to accommodate the various fasteners. I am just trying to make the machine safe as it apparently was not as delivered.
Hows it working
Don't buy one. Have had the same exact experience
Have you had any luck finding a different tooth that works with these units? I’d like to put on the beaver teeth like that but checking to see if anyone’s had any luck with any other brands of teeth
Would you buy it again? And how much you have in it. Am shopping a mulcher now. Any advice would be appreciated. I have a TL12 V2. Thank you in advance!
What site are you getting parts
Does this show a mpa flow rating ? The one i have is labeled as GIYI bit id imagine its the same as your handy. Came from rb auction as well. Im trying to figire out fkow rating to see if it will work on my standard flow machine. Thanks buddy!
How did it work out once you repaired it? have you used it ? looking at buying one. Can you give me a little review on what your experience? please reply as soon as you can.
Its been working pretty well other then the tooth holders are not held on well enough so have lost several teether including the holder. I started welding them on. Also the disc came right off once more as the retaining nut on the shaft loosened up.... But still using it and its the fastest chinese mulcher I have so far. I have 2 others..
Just bought one at auction myself. I will definitely get everything tightened up before using. Have you gotten everything back up and working properly?
We have it running yes. It takes more then tightening on mine... I had to add the extra bolts and reinforce the housing because they simply were not strong enough
Hi Kurt, how was your experience, do you recommend buying one of them?
Do you have a part # for those teeth feom diamond? I cant seem to find teeth anywhere but feom manufactur

This was my personal experience: Maybe it will help someone else. ua-cam.com/video/Um2yqEZ4EsU/v-deo.htmlsi=0fuEB-C9POv4zTpo
Yeah i won't be buying one of those lol
I bought one of these as well and am in the middle of tearing down bearing carrier to add better grade bolts, torque properly and loctite before I have same issue. I have removed motor ( 4 bolts ), top plate ( 6 allen head bolts ), large retaining nut, and removed 12 bolts holding plate to mulcher frame. I am having difficulty removing spindle from bearings. any suggestions ? did you have to heat inner bearing races ? did you pound out spindle, or put in a press ?
how did it turn out? I was thinking about getting one, does it do a decent job?
Симпатяга!!! Пусть будет у них все хорошо!!!
❤❤❤
Does anybody know the Flow Rate on it?
30-45 gpm
Sir.....is there info on where to buy these?
They sell at Ritchie Brothers Auctions
im in Mississippi.....I have looked everywhere to find a video of this one working, mulching......Do you know of a video?
My 1st comment has link to video of it working
@@kurtfrome Sir, i hate to bother you, but I cant find a link to this mulcher working. Im looking at one, and want to buy it.....but i need to see it work first.
@@kurtfromeHi...I bought one myself from Ritchie Bros. I hear you saying how this guy replaced somethings for you.....but I cant figure out how to contact them. Do you have to register for a warranty?
Hey there I recently purchased a handy mulcher and also need the contact info for the manufacturer but am new to UA-cam and do not know how to direct message. I would also like to know what the paper oil is they want you to put in the bearings it says in the manual? What do you use to lubricate yours with
I didn't get a manual so don't now about that. All I have done is grease the bearings. The one grease zirk is hard to get to as you have to remove the drive belt wheel. The metal tag on the mulcher should have a email. If that email doesn't work let me know
Where abouts did you get that one tooth on there that’s different I went out today mulched a quarter mile of fence line today almost every tooth the carbide has shattered and fallen out
I bought one about a month ago. After watching some of these videos I was thinking I am screwed. I hooked it up the other day and I was very pleased. I was lucky mine is balanced even with 40 gallon flow. For part time clearing I think its going to work.
Good to hear. Maybe its luck of the draw or they are balancing them now....
Still fixing the hydraulic fittings and going to cut out bigger holes for hoses@@kurtfrome
Ive been waiting for a drum mulcher review as ive got a disk mulcher from handy
Hey....how do you like the disc mulcher?
@@scottmagee9709 it's been pretty nice had to fix a few things right off the bat but it's been solid since. I've done alot of jobs with it and ive got a few videos on here running it.
THANK YOU @@BlakeMerckleTrucking
Do you have contact information for the manufacture? I have a company owner that bought a complete line of handy equipment, and I cannot find any information on them.
Ritchie Brothers
Where did you purchase from? Can’t find much info online other than auction sites
have you found a source for replacement teeth? I see you have a different style on some locations.
I just put on the beaver tooth to try it out. I do have the company owner contact email and he has sent me parts..if you want to private mail me
you seem to be the king of Chinese attachments
Yes indeed, hard to not be tempted by the low prices compared to the USA stuff
RUT MFG seems to make some top notch attachments for affordable prices.@@kurtfrome
I just bought one id like to ask is it high flow?
Yes its high flow. I believe it has gpm range on the name plate.
